General Information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Commonwealth of Australia were established on 15 January 1992 via exchange of notes.
Since August 2022 H.E. Mr. Areg Hovhannisyan has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Commonwealth of Australia (with residence in Tokyo).
Since April 2024 H.E. Mr. John Geering has been the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Commonwealth of Australia to the Republic of Armenia (with residence in Moscow).
