General information
The Republic of Armenia attaches great importance to the further strengthening of friendly and mutually beneficial ties with the People's Republic of China, as well as to the establishment of new partnership relations.
Diplomatic relations between two countries were established on April 6th, 1992.
On July 1992 the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China was opened in Yerevan.
Since 1992 the Trade representation of the People’s Republic of China functions in Yerevan.
On August 10th, 1996 the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia was opened in Beijing.
On January 11, 2024 Vahe Gevorgyan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the People’s Republic of China.
Since July 14, 2024 Mr. Chen Ming is the Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia
