Cyprus
General information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Cyprus were established on 18 March 1992.
On 13 July 2022, H.E. Mr. Tigran Mkrtchyan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Cyprus (residence in Athens) presented his credentials to H.E. Mr. Nikos Anastasiades, President of the Republic of Cyprus.
On 15 November 2022, H.E. Mr. Kypros Giorgallis, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cyprus to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Moscow), presented his credentials to H.E. Mr. Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the Republic of Armenia.
On 18 July 2007, Mr. Armen Khachatryan appointed as the Honorary Consul of Cyprus in the Republic of Armenia.
There are two joint intergovernmental commissions between Armenia and Cyprus:
Intergovernmental commission on economic, industrial and technical cooperation. The last session was held on 13 January 2011 in Yerevan.
Intergovernmental commission on military and military-technical cooperation. The last session was held on 21 October 2013 in Nicosia.
