Egypt
General Information
The Republic of Armenia and the Arab Republic of Egypt established diplomatic relations on March 9, 1992.
Armenia opened an embassy in Cairo in September 1992, and since April 1993 the Egyptian embassy has been operating in Yerevan.
On July 26, 2021 Hrachya Poladyan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
On December 6, 2022 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Armenia, Serenade Soliman Gamil presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.

Legal Framework
23 agreements, 12 protocols, 14 memoranda, 5 executive programs were signed between the Republic of Armenia and the Arab Republic of Egypt in various fields, such as trade, tourism, education, science, healthcare, culture, environment etc.
Intergovernmental Committee
The Armenian-Egyptian Intergovernmental Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation has been operating since 1996. Up to date five sessions of the Committee have been held:
