General Information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the French Republic were established on 24 February 1992.

On 31 March 2018 Hasmik Tolmajian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia in the French Republic.

On 28 July 2023 Olivier Decottignies, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Armenia, presented his credentials to Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the Republic of Armenia.

Since 2011 the Consulate general of the Republic of Armenia in Marseille has begun its activity. On 1st August 2023 Ara Mkrtchyan was appointed Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Marseille.

Since 2013 the Consulate general of the Republic of Armenia in Lyon has begun its activity. On 15 May 2023 Narine Nikolyan was appointed Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Lyon.
