Iraq
General Information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Iraq were established on February 12, 2000.
The embassy of Armenia in Iraq was established in 2000 (reopened in 2010).
The embassy of Iraq in Armenia was established in 2001 (reopened in 2012).
In February 2021 General Consulate of Armenia was established in Erbil.
On 24 October, 2024 Ruben Soghoyan was appointed as Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Iraq.

Intergovernmental Commission
The Armenian-Iraqi intergovernmental joint commission on economic cooperation has been operating since 2012. Up to date five sessions of the Commission have been held:

- September 2017, Yerevan,
- September 2023, Baghdad.
