General Information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Italian Republic were established on 17 March 1992.
On June 3, 2020, Tsovinar Hambardzumian was appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia in the Italian Republic.
On June 7, 2021, Alfonso Di Riso, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to Armenia presented his credentials to the President of Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian.
On 14 September 2019, Gagik Sarukhanyan was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Veneto (residence in Venice).
On 26 October 2006, Pietro Kuciukian was appointed Honorary Consul of Armenia in Italy (residence in Milan).
