General information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea were established on February 21^st, 1992.

Since November 2016 H.E. Mr. Kim Hyong-jun was the Ambassador of DPRK to Armenia (residence in Moscow). The latter was recalled in May 2019, a new Ambassador has not yet been accredited.

• Protocol on cooperation between MFA of Armenia and MFA of DPRK, signed in Yerevan, on September 26^th, 1995.

• On cultural cooperation between the Government of Armenia and the Government of DPRK, signed in Yerevan, on April 5^th, 2002.
