General information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Korea were established on 21st February 1992.

On May 27, 2022 Areg Hovhannisyan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Korea /residence in Tokyo/.

On November 16, 2023 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Armenia, Lee Dohun presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia.

On February 26, 2014 Kim Do Kyun was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Seoul.

Since June 2002 the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Korea operates in Yerevan.

Since July 2004 the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Armenia is Mr. Armen Abrahamyan.
