Kazakhstan
General information
The diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Kazakhstan were established on August 27, 1992.
Since June 1993, the embassy of the Republic of Armenia has been operating in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since March 2007, the embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been operating in the Republic of Armenia.
In February 2021, Bolat Imanbayev has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Armenia.
In April 2022, Armen Gevondyan has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On April 20, 2021, political consultations at the deputy minister level between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Kazakhstan were held in a video conference format, as a result of which the protocol was signed.
On December 2, 2021, an action plan for cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2023 was signed.
On May 19-20, 2022, consultations between the legal services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of inventory and improvement of the legal framework took place․
On October 7, 2022, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Kazakhstan were held.
Legal framework
About 40 documents have been signed between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Trade and economic relations
On May 26, 2021, the 8th Session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan was held in Astana.
On April 28, 2023, the 9th Session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan took place in Yerevan.
