General information
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka were established on February 12, 1992.
Since November 28, 2024 H.E. Mr. Vahagn Afyan is Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Sri Lanka (with residence in New Delhi, India)
Since June 24, 2022 H.E. Ms. Janitha Abeywickrema Liyanage is Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Armenia (with residence in Moscow, Russia).
The Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Armenia is Mr. Sargis Tarverdyan (since 2013).
