General Information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and New Zealand were established on 6 June 1992 via exchange of notes.

Since September 2022 H.E. Mr. Areg Hovhannisyan has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to New Zealand (with residence in Tokyo).

Since November 2022 H.E. Ms. Sarah Mary Walsh has been the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of New Zealand to the Republic of Armenia (with residence in Moscow).

Mr. Hagob Garhbait is the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia to New Zealand (since October 2023, with residence in Auckland).
