Uzbekistan
General Information:
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Uzbekistan were established on October 27, 1995.
In 2019, Aram Grigoryan has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Uzbekistan (residence in Yerevan).

On 12 July 2023, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Legal Framework
Six bilateral documents have been signed between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- Agreement between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Motor Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan on աrelationships in the field of motor transport– signed on August 20, 1992 (Yerevan)
- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on trade and economic cooperation in 1993– signed on February 23, 1993 (Tashkent)
- Agreement between the Government and the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia and the Government and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the procedure for the repayment of debt obligations by mutual settlements of 1992 and the processing of an intergovernmental loan– signed on February 23, 1993 (Tashkent)
- Agreement between the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia and the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the organization of settlements for 1993– signed on February 23, 1993 (Tashkent)
- Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan– signed on February 17, 1995 (Minsk)
- Protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Uzbekistan– signed on October 27, 1995 (Moscow)
- Protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan- signed in June 2002 (Tashkent)
- Memorandum on cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan- signed on October 1, 2019
Trade and Economic Relations
On August 3-4, 2023 the first Session of the Intergovernmental Armenian-Uzbek Commission on trade and economic cooperation took place in Tashkent.
