Question: Yesterday an agreement was reached in Nicosia to resume the negotiations on the resolution of the Cyprus issue? How do you assess it?

Answer: We welcome the November 11 agreement reached between the President of the Republic of Cyprus and the Leader of Turkish Cypriot Community to resume the negotiation process under the auspices of UN for the settlement of the Cyprus issue and share the expectations of the international community for a lasting, fair and mutually acceptable solution of the issue.
