We condemn the shelling of St. Rita Armenian Catholic Cathedral in Aleppo, which caused severe damage.

Infringement on sacred sites is unacceptable and exposes the barbaric and violent nature of its perpetrators.

International community should multiply its efforts to prevent crimes of such kind, rule out violent acts against civilians, minorities and sacred places.
