Question: Minister, this is, in fact, your first official visit and the first official meeting with the President of the Republic. It is interesting to know what did you discuss or talk about?

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan: We have talked about the principles, we have talked about the role of Artsakh for Armenia, we talked about security and development of Artsakh.

We also talked about the value of Artsakh for all Armenians, because Artsakh is the most important pillar in the current phase of our identity’s history. And in that regard, it is our common responsibility.

Anyone, while being in Artsakh, feels that people in this area live in unique conditions and it is impossible, unacceptable not to feel that.

The conditions are unique because there is a danger, the rival and an issue of physical security. And our unity, our united strength is for all of us. This issue concerns all of us. In that sense, it is extremely important to be here, to feel that spirit and to bear that responsibility.

Question: Thus, Artsakh will be among the priorities on the diplomatic front?

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan: It has been and will remain. It will remain until we are confident, as I said, that the security of Artsakh, as well as its development go on its normal course.
