Tert.am: How would you comment on the wording used with regards the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in the declarations adopted during the trilateral meetings between Turkey-Iran-Azerbaijan and Turkey-Georgia-Azerbaijan?

Reply: We would like to reiterate once again that the only format for the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with an internationally recognized mandate is the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship. The principles of the settlement of the conflict are fixed within this format and they are represented as an integrated whole. The selective approach to these principles in no way contributes to efforts towards a peaceful resolution.

Any wordings made outside of and in contradiction to the framework of the Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship are artificial and have nothing to do with the resolution of the conflict.
