Foreign Minister Oskanian Meets with President Boris Tadić of Serbia
19 April, 2007On 19 April, Minister Oskanian met with Serbian President Boris Tadić. The Minister was in Belgrade to participate in the 16th Ministerial Meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
Welcoming the Armenian Foreign Minister, the Serbian President spoke of the historical and cultural ties which exist between the two nations, as well as the friendly nature of the existing relations. The two discussed bilateral relations and the possibilities for cooperation in the current period and stressed effective cooperation within international organizations.
Minister Oskanian also spoke warmly about the similarities between the two peoples, and assured President Tadić of Armenia’s readiness to deepen relations in all areas. The Minister also referred to the prospects for cooperation within international organizations.
