On June 12, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz, member of the Polish Sejm, candidate for the Secretary General of the Council of Europe.

Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz presented to Foreign Minister of Armenia his viewpoints on  further activity of the Council of Europe, improvement and increase of the efficiency of the organisation.

In the course of the meeting the two discussed the possibilities of development of the Armenia-Polish relations. Edward Nalbandian noted that he warmly remembers his official visit to Poland earlier this year.

On the guest’s request Minister Nalbandian presented the recent developments in negotiation process on the settlement of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) issue and the process of normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations.
