On 20 November, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers Ago Monitoring Group (Ago Group) headed by Ambassador Stelian Stoian.

 Welcoming the guests Minister Nalbandian stressed the importance of the visit within the context of getting acquainted with the reforms implemented in Armenia.

Edward Nalbandian noted the importance of Armenia’s memebrship to the Council of Europe in the context of implementation reforms in various ares, supportito  organization’s common agenda and full participation in CoE’s activities.

The sides exchanged views on Armenian-Turkish relations. Ago Group welcomed the process of normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations and expressed CoE’s support the process.

On the request of guests, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian presented the latest developments in the negotiations on Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) issue.
