On December 14, the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Mouhammad bin Awad al-Hosan, the Ambassador of Oman to Armenia (residence in Moscow) on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of his appointment and expressed confidence that Ambassador Mouhammad bin Awad al-Hosan will have his considerable contribution to the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Oman. Edward Nalbandian also mentioned with warmth that he was the first Armenian high-ranking official to visit Oman as a special representative of the President of the Republic of Armenia in 1993.

Expressing gratitude for the wishes, the Ambassador of Oman assured that he will do his utmost for the further strengthening of the cooperation between the two countries in various spheres.

Touching upon the traditionally friendly and warm relations of Armenia with the Arabic countries, Edward Nalbandian stressed the importance of the further deepening and expansion of those relations.  In that context, the Armenian Foreign Minister noted that only last year Armenia established two Embassies in Arabic countries.

The sides touched upon the cooperation between the two countries in international organizations and exchanged views on the Middle East issues.
