Today Azerbaijan carried out a recurrent provocation on the line of contact with Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), as a result of which a soldier of the NKR Defense Army was shot dead by Azeri snipers.

On the eve of the regular meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in Sochi by the initiative and participation of the Russian President, instead of agreeing and implementing the continuing calls by the international community and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to pull out the snipers from the line of contact, Azerbaijan is undertaking a recurrent provocation, trying to strain the atmosphere before the Presidential meeting.

This behavior of Azerbaijan should receive an appropriate reaction by the international community.
