Question: The OCSE Mink Group Co-Chairs have made a call to hold immediate monitoring on the Azerbaijani-Karabakhi line of contact because of the incidents that happened recently. What is your comment?

Answer: We welcome this initiative of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs. Armenia and Karabakh have repeatedly positively reacted to the appeals of UN Secretary General, OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs, OSCE Chairman-in-Office concerning the withdrawal of snipers from the contact line, which would allow avoiding such incidents and would create a favorable atmosphere in the process of conflict settlement.
