The Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian bid farewell to the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovitch

On June 7, the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Maria Yovanovitch on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic mission in Armenia.

Edward Nalbandian highly assessed the personal contribution of Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch to the strengthening of established friendly relations between Armenia and the United States.

“During my recent visit to Washington, it was mentioned that the Armenian-American relations have raised to a qualitatively new level. And you have a great input in it” - told Edward Nalbandian.

Expressing gratitude for the warm words and support and effective cooperation provided during her mission, Ambassador Yovanovitch mentioned that it was a pleasure to work in Armenia.

The sides exchanged views on bilateral Armenian-American relations, as well as a number of regional and international issues.

Minister Nalbandian wished Ambassador Yovanovitch success in her further diplomatic activities and awarded her with the MFA medal.
