On July 18, the Armenian Foreign Affairs’ Minister Edward Nalbandian received the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Bernard Fassier (France), Robert Bradtke (USA), Igor Popov (Russia) and Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office who arrived in Yerevan within the framework of a regional visit.

During the meeting discussions on the scheduled steps towards achievement of progress in the negotiation process over the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue were continued.

The Co-Chairs presented to the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs the impressions from their meetings they had in Baku.

In the course of the talk with the mediators, the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, touching upon the statements voiced from Baku on immediately drafting of peace agreement without reaching an approval of the Basic principles, said that those statements contradict both the logic of the negotiations and the position of the mediators.
