The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian met with Baroness Caroline Cox

On July 22, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian received the delegation led by Baroness Caroline Cox.

Welcoming the guest, the Minister of Foreign Affairs highly appreciated the support constantly provided by Caroline Cox to Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh and mentioned that the Armenian people commends the activities of the Baroness.

Thanking for the warm words, Baroness Cox noted that she has always had a particular attitude towards Armenia and assured that she would continue her activities in favor of further strengthening of the Armenian-British relations.

During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon the current stage and perspectives of the Armenian-British relations. In that context, Baroness Cox stressed the importance of the visit of Minister Nalbandian to London the previous week, the meeting with the UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs William Hague and Minister of State for Europe David Liddington, as well as the speech addressed in International Institute for Strategic Studies, mentioning that it was a good opportunity for the British experts to learn about Armenia’s foreign policy from the first-hand.

During the talk issues related to bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed.

Upon the request of Caroline Cox, Edward Nalbandian presented the recent developments in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
