By the invitation of Michael Spindelegger, the Austrian Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of European and International Affairs, on August 18-19 Minister Nalbandian took part in the forum of “New Foundations for World Economy and Global Governance” in Salzburg. The forum was attended by Ministers of Foreign Affairs, heads of various international organizations, eminent economists and scientists, and chairmen of international corporations.

In Salzburg the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs also had bilateral meetings with the Ministers of Foreign Affair of Austria and Georgia.

In the course of the meeting with the Federal Minister of European and International Affairs of Austria Michael Spindelegger, Edward Nalbandian discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of bilateral political, economic and humanitarian cooperation. The sides exchanged views on the regional and international developments.

During the meeting between Edward Nalbandian and the Minister of Foreign Affair of Georgia Grigol Vashadze, the implementation of the agreements reached on a high-level and numerous issues of the Armenian-Georgian agenda were discussed.
