On September 15, the regular political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Argentina took place at the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Armenian delegation was led by the Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakossian, the Argentinean side by Alberto D'Alotto, Argentina's First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

In the course of the consultations the sides noted with satisfaction the existing friendly relations between the two countries and stressed the necessity of further deepening of those relations.

During the meeting it was mentioned the importance of strengthening and diversifying of the trade-economic ties. A wide range of political, economic and cultural issues of mutual interest were discussed.

Mr. Arman Kirakossian thoroughly presented the recent regional developments and Armenia’s approaches to them.

Mr. Alberto D 'Alotto, in his part, presented the regional developments in Latin America, touching upon in detail the issue of the Malvinian islands.
