The newly appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Armenia presented the copies of his credentials to the Armenia Minister of Foreign Affairs

On September 19, the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian received Alaa as-Din Saad El-Leyt, the newly appointed ambassador of Egypt to Armenia on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.

Congratulating the newly appointed Ambassador, Minister Nalbandian wished him success, expressing hope that the Ambassador by his activities would contribute to the further deepening and development of the Armenian-Egyptian traditionally friendly relations.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the wishes, mentioning that his country is interested in further strengthening of the Armenian-Egyptian centuries-old relationships and assured that he would do his utmost towards that direction.

In the meeting the interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the Armenian-Egyptian relations.

In the course of the talk, Middle Eastern and North African processes were touched upon.
