The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs received the Head of the National Security Bureau of Poland

On October 17, Edward Nalbandian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs received Mr. Stanisław Koziej, the Polish Head of the National Security Bureau.

Welcoming the guest, Mr. Nalbandian mentioned with satisfaction the Armenian-Polish high-level political dialogue and the reciprocal visits which have become frequent in the recent years. The Minister pointed out the official visit of the President of the Republic of Poland Mr. Bronislaw Komorowski paid to Armenia in July of this year and stressed the importance of the implementation of the agreements reached with Serzh Sargsyan, the President of the Republic of Armenia.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Stanisław Koziej briefed on the purpose of his visit, being the enlargement of the interaction with the National Security Council of Armenia, which would further enrich the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

The sides touched upon the cooperation between Armenia and the EU, particularly on the processes that are held in the frames of the Eastern Partnership Program, as well. In that context Minister Nalbandian highly assessed the role of Poland as chairing country of the EU.

Upon the request Edward Nalbandian, presented the recent developments in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. Stanisław Koziej noted that the peaceful settlement has no alternative.
