Armenian-Indian political consultations at the MFA

On November 1, political consultations between the MFAs of Armenia and India took place at the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The consultations were conducted by Sergey Manasaryan, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Sanjay Singh, the Secretary on Eastern Affairs of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the course of the consultations, a wide range of issues related to the bilateral and multilateral cooperation, in particular issues directed to the organization of reciprocal high-level visits, trade-economic and investment projects, modernization of legal framework and further development of the interaction in the frames of international organizations.

The sides exchanged views on a number of international and regional issues.
The members of the Indian delegation visited the Memorial and Museum of the Armenian Genocide victims.

On the same day was signed the “Project of the cooperation in science and technology between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of India for the period of the years 2012-2015”, which was anticipated by the “Agreement Between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of India on cooperation in the fields of science and technology”, signed on 25th of March 1994.
