The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs received the delegation of the European Parliament

On November 2, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian received the delegation of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee of the European Parliament led by Milan Cabrnoch.

Minister Nalbandian expressed satisfaction with the progressing relations between Armenia and the European Union, in that context stressing the significance of inter-parliamentary ties as an important format for bilateral interaction.

In the course of the talk, the sides mutually stressed particularly the importance of the establishment of the parliamentary platform of the cooperation between the EU countries and EU Eastern neighboring countries in the frames of the Eastern Partnership – Euronest.

During the meeting, the current stage of the negotiations over the Association Agreement was discussed, and the steps towards the visa facilitation regime and the creation of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Zone.

A wide range of international and regional issues was on the agenda of the talks, as well.

The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs presented to the delegation of the European Parliament the recent developments in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh.
