The newly appointed Ambassador of Vietnam presented the copy of his credentials to the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs

On November 9, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian received Fam Suan Shony, the newly appointed Ambassador of Vietnam to Armenia (residence in Moscow) on the occasion of handing the copy of his credentials.

Congratulating the guest, Minister Nalbandian wished success in fulfilling his mission and expressed confidence that with his activity the Ambassador would contribute to the development of the Armenian-Vietnamese relations, establishing a strong basis for their expansion.

The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the wishes, noting that Vietnam is interested in the expansion and development of the cooperation with Armenia and assured that he would do his utmost to promote bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting the sides discussed ways of further developing bilateral relations in different areas. They touched upon the issues related to the intensification of trade-economic and scientific-educational exchanges, as well as holding consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, the establishment of inter-parliamentary ties, the expansion of legal framework and the interaction in the international organizations.
