The newly appointed head of the EU delegation to Armenia presented the copies of his credentials to the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian

On December 9, the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian received the newly appointed head of the EU delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.

Congratulating the Ambassador on the occasion of the appointment, Edward Nalbandian wished him success and expressed hope that with his activities, the head of the EU delegation would contribute to the deepening and expansion of a fruitful cooperation between Armenia and the European Union Expressing gratitude for the wishes Traian Hristea noted that the current high-level of the Armenia-EU relations is a proof of mutual interest in the development of relations and assured that he would do his utmost for the further strengthening of that partnership.

A wide range of issues related to the cooperation between Armenia and the European Union, in particular the negotiations being held over the Association Agreement, visa facilitation regime, and the launching of the negotiations over the creation of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area were discussed.
