The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs received the newly appointed Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan

On January 30, Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian received Andrey Sorokin, the newly appointed Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan.

Welcoming the guest, the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated the Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan on the occasion of assuming a responsible post and expressed hope that the OSCE Office in Yerevan led by Ambassador Sorokin would continue to implement its projects.

Expressing gratitude for the wishes, Ambassador Andrey Sorokin noted that Armenia-OSCE relations have always been comprehensive and include the active involvement of the Republic of Armenia in the activities of the OSCE in all three directions.

Minister Nalbandian expressed satisfaction with the decade of effective activities of the OSCE Yerevan Office and assured that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would continue to provide full support to the activities of the Office.

Edward Nalbandian and Andrey Sorokin discussed a number of regional issues, as well.
