The Armenian Foreign Minister’s visit to Tbilisi

 In the course of Nalbandian- Vashadze meeting the mutual willingness to further develop the good-neighborly relations was reaffirmed.

On March 17 the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian who arrived in Georgia on a working visit met with his counterpart Grigol Vashadze.

Welcoming the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Grigol Vashadze mentioned that the regular meetings between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia in both official and informal formats became a good tradition, which gives an opportunity to discuss various issues of mutual interest, as well as to develop and reach agreement on new projects of cooperation.

During the meeting of the Foreign Ministers held in the tête-à-tête format, various bilateral agenda issues were discussed, in particular the implementation of  the agreements reached between the Heads of the two countries, as well as a number of issues of interest to the Armenian community in Georgia.

Ministers Nalbandian and Vashadze expressed satisfaction with the effectiveness of established regular contacts.

The Foreign Ministers touched upon the agenda of the consultations regularly held between the MFAs of Armenia and Georgia.

On the same day concluding his visit to Tbilisi, Minister Nalbandian returned to Yerevan.
