On 12 April in Warsaw, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian met with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Robert Bradtke (the USA), Jacques Faure (France) and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

During the meeting the sides continued the discussions over the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, and the implementation of the provisions of the joint statement of the Presidents made at the Sochi Summit in January of this year. In this regard Edward Nalbandian touched upon the statements voiced from Baku and the steps that are undertaken, which are in contradiction to the Sochi agreements.

According to Minister Nalbandian, the anti-Armenian and racist rhetoric recently escalating at the highest level in Azerbaijan impedes the creation of a positive atmosphere, important for the negotiations.
