On June 25, on behalf of Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, a farewell dinner was given to German Ambassador Hans-Jochen Schmidt on the occasion of completing his diplomatic mission.

Minister Nalbandian expressed gratitude to Ambassador Schmidt for his efficient and productive work. Minister Nalbandian stressed that during the Ambassador Schmidt's mission, the Armenian-German relations have been developed- high-level political dialogue and reciprocal visits and inter-parliamentary ties were intensified. There was progress in cultural cooperating, as well.

Ambassador Schmidt expressed his gratitude to the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs for his support provided during his mission and expressed hope that the Armenian-German relations would continue to rise up in the future in all spheres of the cooperation.

Minister Nalbandian wished Ambassador Schmidt success in his further diplomatic career.

Marking Ambassador’s considerable contribution to the development of the Armenian-German relations, the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs awarded the Ambassador with the MFA medal.
