The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs received the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Russia's federal agency for post-Soviet affairs and diaspora ties

On July 4 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Konstantin Kosachev, the Special representative of the Russian President for CIS affairs and Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Federal Agency.

Welcoming the guest, Edward Nalbandian underlined that the interaction between the two countries are developing under the conditions of intensive and regular political dialogue at the highest level, growing economic, inter-parliamentary and decentralized cooperation which is characteristic to allied relations. They serve as a good basis for the further strengthening of relations.

The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the unique importance of development and reinforcement of ties in the humanitarian sphere.

Edward Nalbandian and Konstantin Kosachev had a thorough talk on the dynamically developing relations between Armenia and Russia. The sides discussed the steps to be undertaken towards the deepening of bilateral educational, cultural and scientific ties, as well as towards their further expansion.

The cooperation in the frames of the CIS was touched upon. During the meeting the interlocutors exchanged views on other topic of mutual interest.
