On July 12 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Guy Trouveroy, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Armenia (residence in Moscow) on the occasion of presenting the copies of his credentials.

Congratulating the guest on the appointment, Minister Nalbandian expressed satisfaction with the stable development of the bilateral relations and expressed confidence that during the Ambassador’s mission, the Armenian-Belgian relations would be further deepened.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Ambassador Trouveroy mentioned that he would do his utmost to strengthen the Armenian-Belgian relations, and raise them to a qualitatively new level.

The interlocutors touched upon the Armenian-Belgian interaction in various spheres, and exchanged views on the relations between Armenia and the European Union.

The regional developments were on the agenda of the meeting, as well.
