The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs received journalists of Diaspora

On October 6 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received journalists from Diaspora who arrived in Armenian to take part in the 6th Pan-Armenian Forum of Journalists entitled “Ahead of the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.”

During the two-hour meeting in the presence of Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, Edward Nalbandian spoke about the great contribution of Diaspora media in the strengthening of the relations between Armenia and Diaspora, as well as in the preservation of the Armenian identity abroad.

Answering the questions of journalists, Edward Nalbandian presented in detail the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, the Armenian’s regional policy, the allied relations with Russia, the Armenian-American partnership, and the policy of rapprochement with the European family, as well as the steps being undertaken towards the development of relations with Arab, Asian and Latin American countries. Minister Nalbandian presented also Armenia’s approaches on global agenda issues and Armenia’s contribution to various international organizations.
