On November 16 the meeting of the Armenian National Commission for UNESCO took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian, Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan, Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Hrachya Rostomyan and the First Deputy Minister of Ministry of Nature Protection Simon Papyan, as well as other officials attended the meeting.

The meeting was conducted by Edward Nalbandian, during which the accomplished work, existing problems and future projects were discussed, as well as issues related to the drafting of Commission’s charter, expansion of Commission’s staff and promotion of the effectiveness of Armenia’s activities in the frames of the UNESCO.
