On November 28 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov who arrived in Yerevan.

During the meeting Ministers Nalbandian and Meredov underlined that the visit of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow is an important point in the relations of the two countries and is a good opportunity to summarize the achievements of the twenty years inter-state relations and to outline new perspective of the development of cooperation.

The sides touched upon a wide range of issues related to the interaction between the two countries, as well, particularly the expansion of legal framework, the cooperation in the international organizations, the development of trade and economic ties and the deepening of cultural and educational and scientific cooperation.

In the evening of November 28, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Turkmenistan attended a concert dedicated to the Armenian-Turkmen friendship.
