On January 11 the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian hosted Oleksandr Pavlyuk, the newly appointed Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe to Armenia.

Welcoming Oleksandr Pavlyuk, Minister Nalbandian congratulated him on the appointment and expressed hope that during his mission progress would be continued to registered in the implementation of joint projects.

The Minister emphasized the importance of closer cooperation with the CoE Secretary General’s Representative during the Armenian presidency in the Council of Europe starting since May.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception and wishes, Oleksandr Pavlyuk assured he would do his utmost to support the effective realization of the priorities outlined in the Armenia – Council of Europe Action Plan for 2012-2014.

The sides touched upon the participation of observation mission in the upcoming presidential elections in Armenia.
