The newly appointed Ambassador of Indonesia presented the copies of her credentials to the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs

On January 14 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Niniek Kun Naryatie, the newly appointed Ambassador of Indonesia to Armenia (residence in Kiev) on the occasion of presenting the copies of her credentials.

Welcoming the guest and congratulating the Ambassador on her appointment, Foreign Minister Nalbandian mentioned that he keeps warm memories on his visit to Jakarta in August last year, the meeting with Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa and reached agreements aimed at the provision of a new impetus to bilateral relations, intensification of political dialogue, rapprochement of cooperation in the international organizations, strengthening of legal framework and development of inter-parliamentary, trade, economic and cultural ties. Edward Nalbandian expressed hope that the newly appointed Ambassador would bring her important contribution to the implementation of the reached agreements.

The Minister noted as well that Armenia stressing the importance of the relations with Indonesia, plans to open an embassy in Indonesia this year which would provide a new impulse and quality to the bilateral relations.

Ambassador Naryatie expressed gratitude for the reception and assured that during her mission she would do her utmost to strengthen and expand the relations between the two countries.
