The meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia

On January 17 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Georgian counterpart Ms. Maia Panjikidze who was in the delegation of Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili in Yerevan.

The Ministers discussed issues related to the implementation of the agreements reached during the meeting between President Serzh Sargsyan and the Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, as well as during the talks between the Prime Ministers of Armenia and Georgia.

The Ministers reaffirmed with satisfaction that there are no problems in the relations between the two countries, and there are questions which are solved by the joint efforts.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Georgia touched upon a number of regional and global issues of mutual interest.

An agreement was reached to continue the discussions during the scheduled visit of Edward Nalbandian to Georgia in February.
