On January 17 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Ms. Karin Woldseth, head of the PACE monitoring mission and the delegation led by her, which paid a pre-electoral visit to Yerevan.

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian highly assessed the effective cooperation established between Armenia and the Council of Europe and its Parliamentary Assembly. Edward Nalbandian stressed the importance of the role of those structures in the implementation of democratic reforms in Armenia.

During the meeting the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs presented the implemented works towards the improvement of electoral processes in Armenia.

In the talks Edward Nalbandian reaffirmed the Armenian MFA’s readiness to present every support to the observation mission within the frames of its competence.
