On February 15 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the delegation of the International Expert Center for Electoral Systems (ICES) led by Alexander Tsinker, the President of the organization.

During the meeting issues related to the observation missions at the upcoming presidential elections were discussed. In this context Minister Nalbandian expressed satisfaction with the participation of several hundred observers representing various countries and international organizations.

The members of the delegation highly assessed the conditions created for the implementation of observation mission and added that the new Electoral Code allows conducting elections in line with international standards.

Answering the questions of the observers, Edward Nalbandian touched upon Armenia’s approaches on regional and international issues.
