On March 7, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian met with the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Philippe Lefort.

During the meeting the parties discussed the results of the recent unofficial meeting of Eastern Partnership member states, which was held in Tbilisi, as well as the preparation of the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius.

The Parties touched upon the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process once again. The EU special representative again reiterated the EU support for the peace efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, as well as confidence-building measures between the parties.
