On March 11, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Brazil’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vera Machado, who is in Yerevan on a working visit.

Welcoming the guest, Minster Nalbandian mentioned with satisfaction that Armenia attaches great importance to the development of the Armenian-Brazilian relations and assured about the possibility of further effectively using of that potential for the expansion of bilateral relations by joint efforts. According to the Minister, there is a needed to exert efforts for the reinforcement of legal framework, deepening of trade and economic cooperation and rapprochement of interaction in the international organizations.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Madam Vera Machado mentioned that Brazilia is interested in deepening of cooperation with friendly Armenia in different spheres and added that her visit is aimed at this goal.
The sides exchanged views on agenda issues of bilateral relations and a number of regional and global issues.
